Selection

Panel data slots selection guide

In the corresponding panel you can select and deselect individual data-block slots. Operations are applied based on the selection. You can also choose the slots based on the object selected in the viewport or reverse.

Slot selections

<aside> 💡 Selecting slots is now extremely easy. Shift + Click for multiple slots. Ctrl for individual. Double click Selects all or deselects everything. Double click on the unselected slot inverts the selection. Enjoy!

Icon selections/previews

For icon selections/previews enable contextual mode in the add-on preferences

Contextual mode - Click on the icon selects an object in 3D view
Menu mode - Click on the icon opens context menu
Select mode - Click on the icon is regular slot selection but with icon symbols and material previews on
Off - Icon symbols and material previews are hidden

Sync-selection mode

!> Sync-select on/off synchronizes selections of 3D view objects and corresponding slots. Quick preference cog icon dropdown. Useful if you don't use a contextual mode.

Sync On - slot and object selections in 3D view are synced to each other.
Sync Off - object and panel slots selections are independent of each other. You can run operations on the selected object or on slots independently. This is the default.
